John Lennon was complaining to Neil
Aspinall, the ex-Beatles roadie, about
how expensive his life was in New York.

Aspinall replied by reminding Lennon of
his own words, "Imagine no possessions"

~ and Lennon snapped,
"It's only a bloody song!"
